Overview of How The Ad Exchange Program Works

We use a system that manages the ad placement on many websites that participate in the Ad Exchange Program.  All of the websites in the exchange program create a network where people will see ads from the other participating businesses.  As the network grows participating businesses will be able to better define the types of websites that they want their ads to appear on (demographic targeting) and what areas around the world that they want their ads seen in (geographic targeting).  This targeting will make ads that appear on all participating sites more and more relevant over time.

Details of the Ad Exchange Program

1. You, with our help, will place a “window” on your site, or multiple "windows" (to get more free views) for an ad on the network to be displayed. Different ads will appear in the “window” on a rotational basis from our ad server. This is actually simpler than it sounds—it can be done in minutes.

2. With the ad “windows” on your site in place, you will be given a login to go into an ad builder and create your own ad. If you’d like a better ad you can either have a designer you know create the ad, or we can provide you a list of designers ready to help you create it.

3. Advertise your business at no cost.  For every 2 viewed ads from other businesses that show on your site, you will be credited with 1 free ad view on the network.  The ad view that is left over is sold to a paid advertiser to cover the costs of running the ad exchange program.
